If you are sure you want to try a handheld vacuum but you have a very limited budget, the cordless AADD can be a great option. This handheld vacuum cleaner is compact and the lightest of the models I have analyzed (it barely weighs 650 grams), making it ideal for removing dust, pet hair, cat litter, and any small residue.

The AADD vacuum cleaner is very versatile and is one of the most complete accessories in this price range. In addition, it is a vacuum cleaner with a washable filter. The HEPA filter is reusable and very easy to clean under the tap.

It is not heavy at all, comfortable, and manageable. I find its rounded handle very practical, which is very comfortable and easy to grip. However, some aspects do not convince me, such as there is no dirt retention system in the tank. In case, you let it fill too much and take it upside down, the dirt can come out again. I didn’t like the tank release button either, as it sometimes gets stuck and is hard to press. What I would highlight about the AADD (apart from the low weight) is its autonomy of 30 minutes.

One of its strengths is its battery life, which reaches 30 minutes. Its charge is fast, from 3 to 4 hours, using a charger connected to a USB port. I have to point out that the adapter is not included in the purchase. So if you have one available at home make sure the output is not higher than 2 Amp before using it.

The URAQT is a model that you can take advantage of even to clean the car since it has good power, low weight, and great autonomy. But I think it is not prepared for intensive use since at first glance, you can see that the quality of the materials is not one of the best. If you don’t treat things like the filter release tab carefully, it can end up breaking.

The Rowenta Extenso Cyclonic is not a powerful handheld vacuum, but the most powerful is not always the best. Its tank is also not one of the largest (380 ml), but from my point of view this model is perfect for collecting surface dirt from anywhere in your house, breadcrumbs from the countertop, or the annoying remains of coffee or sugar that accumulate on the furniture.

I found its accessory for narrow slots very practical with which you can clean drawers, for example. As it is small and manageable, it is not difficult to introduce it in small places, but a flexible tube for deep areas would have been good. It also incorporates a small bristle cleaner for upholstery.

It has a very comfortable charging base. So, you don’t have to worry about plugging in the cable, and includes a battery indicator light. It can take up to 15 hours to charge, so I advise you to always have it on the base (you can fix it to the wall). The interesting thing about this vacuum cleaner is that it is one of the few that includes class A energy efficiency, so consumption is much lower than similar proposals such as the Conga Immortal.  

Finally, to comment that, despite not having a very high suction, it has not seemed exactly silent to me either (80 dB), although this aspect for me is not the most important thing in handheld vacuum cleaners since use is normally limited to a few minutes.

Even though today we have boring vacuum cleaner brands, only a few manage to convey confidence just by hearing their name, and an example of this is Bosch. The Bosch Move is a powerful cordless handheld vacuum cleaner, with a 14.4V battery, and 2 speeds. A triple filtering system that even traps dust before expelling the air (the manufacturer calls this High Airflow). It is capable of sucking up breadcrumbs, popcorn, and all the dust and dirt that it finds in its path without any problem.

The battery lasts 40 minutes, which is not bad at all, but we must clarify that this duration is at normal speed. If we put it at maximum speed this autonomy is reduced to just 12 minutes. As usual in Bosch, the battery is Lithium-Ion and is of good quality and durable. It does not have a fast charge and cannot be used while charging. So I advise you to pay attention to the state of charge before using it, because it may take more than 12 hours to charge.

Something that does not convince me about this model is that the power button is sensitive and can be activated accidentally by touching it. In addition, it only includes 1 accessory (a narrow nozzle for joints), although they can be purchased separately. In my point of view, they are not cheap.

In the same line, BOSCH has several models of rechargeable handheld vacuum cleaners with identical characteristics but different voltages: 18v and 21.6v. These models have more suction power but the autonomy is similar.

Of course, only in Eco mode, because in Turbo it only works for 20 minutes. 

I have found the rotary accessory that it incorporates to be very practical, with it it is very easy to clean the upholstery of your armchairs or cushions, adapting to the shape of each one and eliminating hair. It also includes a rigid tube for narrow areas and a bristle brush. But, as with the Rowenta Extenso Cyclonic, I would have liked it to include a flexible tube for difficult corners. Not all handheld vacuum cleaners are useful for the car. However, I loved this one, because it is powerful, durable, and has  3 LED lights so you can illuminate any corner. In addition, it is capable of collecting liquid. 

 Note: Lighting can affect autonomy, please take this into account when using it. 

Its tank is not the largest of those analyzed, but its  650 ml capacity is not bad at all. You can also easily clean it with water, just like the membrane filter it incorporates. The only thing I do not recommend is mixing solid and liquid, as it can create a paste that is difficult to clean.

Its autonomy can reach up to 30 minutes, although it depends on the mode of use, and it has one of the lowest charging times, between 4 and 6 hours. It has a  charging base, like others, but with the advantage that you can store the accessories included in it. So, it is perfect if you have space problems. And best of all, it includes a charger for the car! You can take it in the trunk or leave it at home. 

It includes only two accessories, a rigid one for narrow slots and a brush to clean upholstery. They are enough for most people, although it is true that I expected more variety like in the Cecotec Conga Immortal Extreme.
